My lifelong connection with horses has led to a career as a professional horsewoman and preservationist of the rare Colonial Spanish horse.

Prior to founding The Center for America's First Horse, I spent nearly a year in New Mexico promoting the Colonial Spanish horse and natural horsemanship. During this time I was the trainer and horse specialist in equine assisted psychotherapy. Previously, I managed the Choctaw Indian Pony Conservation Program herd at Red Road Farm in Morrisville, Vermont.

For the past five years I've represented this breed and natural horsemanship in demonstrations throughout New England. I maintain an active clinic and teaching schedule in the region and will be traveling to Switzerland, continuing this work abroad.

I've been featured in Vermont Life, Horseman's Yankee Pedlar and been on the cover of New Mexico's Horseman's Voice magazine. I'm an active committee member of the Horse of the America's Registry (HOA). My gelding Morado was awarded the HOA Sport Horse of the Year and Sundance Award in 2008.

The American Indian Horse Registry honored me with the 2010 Keeper of the Flame award for my efforts to preserve and promote America's first horse.
